School spirit

This past weekend was my mom's 10-year high school reunion, and we stayed with Chick and Gigi.
Aunt Abanna, Steph, and my mom at the homecoming parade

Chick and Uncle Austin were in the parade with the Jr. High football team...they are the coaches.

I got to meet some of my mom's friends from high school at a tailgate before the homecoming football game, and yes, I am wearing a tutu.

GO BULLDOGS!

Johnny Appleseed

This weekend was the Johnny Appleseed festival.  We went yesterday, and had a great time.  There were lots of arts and crafts, bagpipes, soldiers dressed in revolutionary war uniforms, and apples everywhere.  To learn more about Johnny Appleseed, visit http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Appleseed

Friday night lights

Last night, we went to see the Homestead Spartans take on the Bellmont Braves.  I love going to football games.  There are so many people to see, and I really like watching the marching band perform at half-time.  Homestead beat the Braves 34-14.  GO SPARTANS!!!!

An apple a day

I have two teeth now!  Mom, does that mean that I can eat grown-up food?

Baby animals

Today, I went to the zoo with my friend Keira.  We saw lots of baby animals.

Here are some baby peacocks with their mommy.

Sleeping baby piglets...how cute!

Baby kangaroos are called joeys.

Look, a baby bear!  Wait a minute...that is just me in my Chicago Bears jersey.

Sweater weather, already?

It was a little cool on our walk today.  I am so glad that fall will be here soon.  Tonight, we are going to the Homestead High football game, and I can't wait!

My favorite colors are orange and blue

We spent the long, holiday weekend at Chick and Gigi's house, and had a blast!

On Friday, we went to Dawgapalooza and the first home football game.  There were kids everywhere, and everyone was wearing orange and blue.

Look, Dad...I am starting early...are you proud?  I am not really drinking Mountain Dew...just chewing on the cap.  Looks pretty funny though, huh?

This is Chick playing drums with his band the "Old Dawgs".  It was great.  I especially liked it when Chick sang the song Mustang Sally.

On Saturday morning, we met some of my mom's friends for breakfast.  Hi Kate and Kristi...it was great seeing you!

Saturday evening, my Great-Grandma Joanne had a cookout at her house.  I got to snuggle with my Uncle Austin.  Uncle Austin and Steph watched me all day on Sunday, so that Mom and Gigi could spend some time with Aunt Abanna in Chicago.  We had a great day together!

I love going to Chick and Gigi's house.
